Oliver Cowan’s Summer Bridge Congress is running on the weekend of 9th/10th July at the Hilton Hotel in Leeds City Centre. The weekend features 2 separate Pairs events and players can join for as much or as little as the weekend as they wish. There are players of all levels from International to Improver already booked in and the hotel is in an excellent location being a short walk from the Leeds train station.
Those entering the full congress have all meals included.
Those paying for ‘bridge only’ will get 2 course lunch in the hotel restaurant as well tea/coffee/water and biscuits throughout the day.
Saturday is a Matchpoint Pairs and Sunday is a Swiss Pairs. Both events are 48 boards, Blue Pointed and will have trophies for the best placed “non-expert” pair as well as the overall winners.
Please come and join what should be a fun weekend with some good quality bridge in nice surroundings. For those who want to stay extra nights before or after, please get in touch with me for a room rate. For those travelling on Friday, there is already a large group (25+) going out to eat that night so please let me know if you wish to be added to that.
