April Robot Ladder Competitions

April's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.

In the 12-board ladder for April, Robert Plumley won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 70.55% over six games. Matt Foster was second, with 69.15% and Jaak Känd third with a score of 68.59%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place.

In the main March matchpoints ladder, Mike Bowman finished top of the leader board. His best six scores in the month averaged 62.34%, and he wins £30. Second place was claimed by Robin Prestwich with an average score of 62.31%, he wins £20. There were also cash prizes for third to fifth places.

In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Jonathan Bennett finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 9.4, winning £25. The second place prize went to Luis Barbero with a score of 8.19. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
