The Avenue Bridge Club team, from Sussex, has won the Garden Cities Trophy, the competition for each county's 'teams-of-eight champions'.
The final featured seven teams which qualified from the Regional Finals which took place in May, and Avenue BC finished in first with 82 VPs. Manchester BC, finished in second place with 69 VPs, and Coventry BC was third with 65 VPs.
The winning Avenue Bridge Club team was Gunnar Hallberg, Sally Clark, Julian Mitchell, Peter Clinch, Mike Allen, Andy Ryder, Ken Ford & David Dickson (pictured).
The final took place at West Midlands Bridge Club, Solihull.
