We are aware that many of our members will have received an email about BBO introducing membership plans. Full details are available.
What this means for you. With a free BBO account you will still be able to:
- Play in tournaments run by EBU clubs
- Play in EBU 12 board daily games
- Play in EBU Daylong tournaments
- Play in Social Bridge when invited by a Premium member but you won’t be able to setup a new table
- Play in Teams matches when invited by a Premium member but you won’t be able to setup teams matches
To setup a Social Bridge table or a Teams match one player will need to have a Premium account and do the setup and invite the other players.
For teams matches which are part of a club, county or EBU league or knockout logins can be provided so teams matches can be setup without the need for a Premium account.
Club games run by vEBU accounts will not be impacted by these changes. vEBU accounts will be Premium accounts and so will be able to setup Teams matches.
Social Bridge on RealBridge is available from the EBU at a cost of £5 per table for 20 boards.

If clubs or counties do not have a RealBridge account and would like to set one up so they can run duplicates and / or setup Teams matches then they can see further information and then email clubs@realbridge.online
IntoBridge is another platform for playing bridge which offers free social bridge and the ability to setup teams matches for free.
