Every year, thousands of people discover that loneliness is not simply about being alone — it is about feeling disconnected. That is why Loneliness Awareness Week has become such an important national conversation.
This year’s campaign runs from 15th–22nd June, offering communities across the UK an opportunity to create welcoming spaces, encourage connection, and help people build meaningful social networks.
For the bridge community, this presents a natural opportunity.
Why not lay on a host at your usual weekly session; set up an outreach table at a local cafe or library; or organise a taster session.
Use this form to tell us about your event and we will load it onto the Marmalade Trust’s map.
