Michael Byrne and Kieran Dyke retained the Easter Championship Pairs Trophy (the "Guardian" Pairs) at the London Easter Festival on Fri 3 - Sat 4 April with a score of 60.62% over five sessions of 18 boards. They were followed by Diana Nettleton & Matt Brown in second place on 58.65% and Jamie Fegarty & Liam Fegarty third on 57.45%.
Then the following day Michael and Kieran won again, this time the Swiss Pairs with 108 Victory Points, followed by Kostadin Vasilev & Anton Mauve (with Brian Callaghan playing the final two rounds in Kostadin's place) on 107 VPs and John Atthey & Sally Anoyrkatis on 100 VPs.
Jamie Fegarty & Liam Fegarty were there again, in fourth position with 98 VPs tied in fourth place with Anouk Riviere & Ian Pagan.
The final event of the weekend was the Swiss Teams. The winning team were Martin Jones, Abbey Smith, Sally Anoyrkatis & John Atthey, with a total score of 116 VPs. In second place were the team of Jonathan Clark, Kripa Panchagnula, Aaron Hutton & Oliver Powell with a score of 107 VPs.
