The celebration of David’s life will be held on Wednesday 6 April 2022 at 11am in our village church, St John the Baptist, Church Street, Little Maplestead, Halstead CO9 2SL and afterwards at our house. The family would be happy for people to attend, but please email sam@ebu.co.uk and she will let the family know to expect you.
We regret to announce that England International David Price died on the 21st of March, aged 72 at home after an illness, attended by his wife, Jenny.

Last week EBU Chairman Ian Payn visited David to present him with a Diamond Award, for sustained excellence representing England. He was accompanied by David's friends, Brian Callaghan and Godfrey King. The three of them are pictured here (L to R), Godfrey holding David's D'Orsai Bowl medal, Brian holding David's Diamond Award certificate, and Ian holding the Diamond award itself. David was not well enough to be photographed, but was delighted to receive visitors, and to receive his award, which will take its place in his plentifully stocked trophy room.
