December Robot Ladder Competitions

December's robot ladder competitions, have now concluded.

In the 12-board ladder for December, Roman Khatskevich won the top prize of £30 with an average score of 69.54% over six games. Gordon Rainsford was second, with 69.33% and Matthew Covill third with a score of 67.99%. There were also prizes for fourth and fifth place. This is the new competition which started in September and is run on both Funbridge and BBO, combining the existing BBO day-long individual games with the new 12-board Funbridge games.

In the main December matchpoints ladder, David Dawson finished top of the leader board. His best six scores in the month averaged 65.77%, and he wins £30. Second place was claimed by Jonathan Lillycrop with an average score of 62.64%, he wins £20. There were also cash prizes for third to fifth places.

In the handicap ladder, for the players whose scores exceed their NGS by the greatest amount. Paul Nicholas finished top of the leader board over the top six games, with a handicap score of 5.68, winning £25. The second place prize went to Bryan Hutton with a score of 3.60. There were also prizes for third and fourth place.
