The EBL Women’s teams ended on Sunday 27 April. This was a transnational event.
The “Yorkshirepuddings” team were the only English to reach the top bracket, finishing 8th. They were: Gill Copeland, Nichola Cockerill-Smith, Pearl Murphy & playing captain Val Gibson.
They had tough opposition, the "Viking Girls", from Norway, who won the Gold Medal.
In Bracket B, the English team "Valkrie" came 4th. They were: Diana Nettleton, Fiona Brown, Helen Erichsen, Nevena Senior, Nicola Smith, Sally Brock, and Captain: David Burn.
