We have received notice that Eileen Maunder's funeral is being held at 2pm on 10th September at St Paul's Church Bledlow Ridge with a gathering afterwards at the Village Hall.
Eileen was the EBU Membership Secretary. She joined the EBU in 1973, becoming the first full-time employee. In 1975 she was given the title of Membership Secretary. After initially joining the EBU for just a few weeks, she eventually retired in 2010.
Eileen didn't generally play bridge, though she did have some lessons. "I've got one Green Point, by accident," she said. "I was dragged in to make a four at a teams event, and it happened to be a very good team." She preferred gardening and walking, and was very involved in her village community of Bledlow Ridge.
