England Retain Teltscher Trophy

The Teltscher Trophy - the 'Senior Camrose' competition - took place this weekend (17th-19th May). This year the event was held  at the The University of Stirling, in Scotland.

The England team of Kay Preddy & Norman Selway, Trevor Ward & David Kendrick, Roger Bryant & Nick Smith, with NPC David Jones. were victorious, finishing with a total score of 65.46. Hosts Scotland finished a close 2nd with 64.66 and Wales finished in 3rd place with a score of 58.87.

The weekend culminated in a very exciting finish with England winning the Trophy on the last board. England Captain David Jones is pictured receiving the trophy from Alan Goodman. 

England have now won the event eight times, Scotland five times, Republic of Ireland three times and Wales once. 

Thanks to the hard working team of vugraph operators (picture), there were video commentators at every session.
