For the 2026 Season of the Premier League, the maximum number of players that may play in any team in Division 4 has been increased to 10.
This means players wanting to try out the Premier League and experience playing with screens under international competition conditions but in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere can do so without needing to commit to playing in more than one or two weekends.
Green Points are awarded in all divisions for matches won and drawn, as well as for final ranking in the division.
The schedule and venues for Division 3 and 4 will be:
- Weekend 1: 12th - 13th September 2026
Young Chelsea Bridge Club - 21 Dalling Road, London, W6 0JD - Weekend 2: 17th - 18th October 2026
West Midlands Bridge Club - Marion Murtagh House, 909 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 3EP - Weekend 3: 21st - 22nd November 2026
East Midlands Bridge Academy - Old School, Chapel Street Spondon, Derby, DE21 7JR
The closing date for teams wishing to play in Divisions 1 and 2 is 19th June 2026 at Noon and the participants in those two divisions will be announced as soon as possible after this date. This will provide certainty to all participants in the Premier League as to which location they will be playing at and allow travel and accommodation bookings to be made.
There will then be an extended closing date of 14th August 2026 at Noon to allow as many teams as possible, including youth teams, to enter in either Division 3 or 4.
Any pair or foursome wishing to play in only one or two weekends can express their interest in playing and will where possible be formed into teams of up to 10 players to cover all three weekends. Please email comps@ebu.co.uk confirming the names of the players and which of the three weekends you wish to play in.
