Face-to-Face Bridge and Government Regulations

We have so far been unable to get advice from any government bodies giving details of how or when bridge clubs might be able to play face-to-face while following the regulations. Public Health England have told us that if the games are in a community hall or similar then this guidance may apply, particularly section 3c. PHE have also said “Advice regarding a venue being Covid Secure can be obtained through the Local Authority for that venue and will differ depending on the venue, its size and function.”

The EBU will not be organising any face-to-face games or competitions for the foreseeable future. Whilst clubs are responsible for making their own decisions and arrangements, they should do so in full knowledge of the latest general and social distancing regulations.
