The Gerard Faulkner Salver is the Seniors Knockout event, and any teams wishing to enter should do so by noon on Monday 17th August.
The event is open to teams consisting of four to six players, all of whom are EBU members and were born in 1961 or earlier (Seniors event eligibility criteria). It is played as a knockout throughout, with matches played privately.
There will be a repechage, so that teams losing their first round match will then be paired with another losing team from round 1 and the winner of this tie will progress to round 2. Therefore all non-seeded teams will play at least two matches.
Green Points are awarded for each round won. Matches in the early stages will be arranged so as to avoid long journeys wherever possible, and matches can also be played online at the agreement of both teams.
