The Pachabo Cup was held over the weekend of 13-14 June 2026 and was won by the team from Gloucestershire who were represented by Paul Denning, Andrew Kambites, Richard Butland, Robert Stevens & Richard Chamberlain (pictured). Gloucestershire last won the event in 2023, with Paul Denning also part of the winning team at that time.
The event is for the winners of the county teams championship of each County Association of the EBU. The event was held online on RealBridge.
The event uses hybrid scoring, Gloucestershire's winning score was 252.5, but it went right down to the very last board! In second place were North East (Don Reid, Liz Muir, Damian Hassan & Martin Kane) with a score of 249 and in third were Middlesex (Nick Simms, Michael Clack, Shireen Mohandes, Andy Bowles & Peter Hasenson) who scored 242.
Please note: The results on RealBridge include an extra 12 VPs for each team for the "sit out", which is not included in the final results.
