We are sad to report the death of John Probst at the age of 78, said by his daughter Diana to have been ‘after a long illness and after eating cake with his brother.’
John was instrumental in starting the Woodberry Bridge Club in London, was for many years the Chief TD of the Young Chelsea Bridge Club and of the London Metropolitan Bridge Association, worked at St John's Wood Bridge Club and was a member of the EBU TD panel. We offer condolences to all his family and friends.
John's funeral will be at 3:30pm on Mon 12th of October, at Cambridge Crematorium, with curry afterwards at Megna. If you are going to attend, please RSVP to his daughter Katherine at spamgirl@virginmedia.com
