The final stages of the Spring Foursomes have come to a close with the Moran team from Ireland (Mark Moran, Tom Hanlon, Nick FitzGibbon, Adam Mesbur, John Carroll, Conor Boland & Grainne Barton NPC) (photo) finally winning after having been runners up several times. Congratulations to them and commiserations to the Allfrey team (photo) who lost to them in the final, 100-55.
The Punchbowl, the secondary event for teams eliminated from the main event before Sunday evening, was won by the Lynton team (Lynton Stock, Piotr Zatorski, Dror Padon, Ron Pachtman, Alon Birman) (photo).
The Hamilton Cup, the Swiss Teams taking place on the Monday, was won by the Black Team (Andrew Black, Tom Paske, Andrew McIntosh, Simon Hult, David Gold, Peter Bertheau) (photo). They finished on a score of 86 VPs from their 6 matches, 3 VPs ahead of the Nettleton team (Diana Nettleton, Ulf Nilsson, Owen Lien, Matt Brown).
