Congratulations to Michael Byrne & Kieran Dyke who won the Open Trials this weekend with +180.75 IMPs.
The trials were held at Young Chelsea Bridge Club to pick the team that will represent England in the Open category of the European National Teams Championship, provisionally to be held from 27th June to 7th July 2026 in Riga, Latvia.
Michael and Kieran will join David Gold and Andrew Robson who were selected for the team in advance of the trial. The third pair on the team will be determined by the Selection Committee, taking into account the views of the trial winners and the pre-selected pair.
