David Stevenson & Liz Commins (pictured) were the victors in the Scarborough Summer Congress's main event, winning the Swiss Pairs event by 12 VPs. In second place were Graham Cox & Pat Barton, with 154 VPs and in third place were Chris Jagger & Jane Jensen with 149 VPs.
The Multiple Teams event was won by John Atthey, Diana Nettleton, Andrew McIntosh & Sara Moran (picture). They finished 44 IMPs ahead of the team of Steve Raine, Chris Cooper, John Sansom & Jason Hackett. In third place was the team of Alan Hayward, Tom Copeland, Robin Jepson & Alan Brosgill.
The Seniors Pairs was won by Sue Woodcock & Nick Woodcock (picture) with 59.52%. In second place were Andrew Petrie & Veronica Petrie with 54.76%.
The Pre-Congress Open Pairs was won by Gary Hyett & Margaret Howe (picture) with 54%. In second place were Barrie Partridge & Linda MacFarlane with 50%.
