There is still time to Register for the next Sim Pairs to support our Junior Squad

The EBU Junior Squad Simultaneous Pairs takes place next week, Monday 7th to Thursday 10th February and there is still time to Register.

Even if your club is not planning to host the event, you can still get involved by joining as a guest to play at one of the other registered clubs. A full list of clubs taking part is shown below, please check with each club to see if they are accepting visitors.

All clubs are welcome to join in the "Junior Squad Sim Pairs" which aims to celebrate and promote junior bridge in England. Funds raised from the event go directly into the junior squad budgets. The event remains in the familiar fun format, suitable for everyone to play, not just juniors!

I hope you will support this event and look forward to you playing.

This Sim Pairs is slightly different to others Sims events, the first set of deals can be played on Monday or Tuesday. The second set can be played on Wednesday or Thursday. This means a larger field in each competition, making it more interesting and enjoyable for those who take part.

How to take part

Your club can quickly and easily register in the usual manner, through the club's account on My EBU. You can register right up until the start of the session in question. Commentary booklets will be available via your clubs My EBU page. Full details of how to register, and information on downloading the hands and submitting the results, can be seen here and here. For clubs playing on BBO instructions on uploading hands can be found here. Clubs using RealBridge can upload the files via the standard director functionality, instructions here.

For 2022 the entry fees are £2.90 per player, plus the usual Universal Membership Subscription payment.

Information on the benefits of participating in the event, including entry in the prize draw and more details on how clubs can participate, are available on the Sims page.
