It has come to our attention that members traveling to play bridge in a professional capacity may not be covered by their travel insurance provider for any claims relating to playing bridge.
This relates specifically to people playing in a professional and competitive event, for example transnational events run by the EBL or the WBF. Please check the details of your travel insurance policy wording and if in doubt, please contact your travel insurance company directly.
Members of the national team representing England will be covered by the EBU travel insurance with Partners&.
