Congratulations to four members of our Under 16 team at the World Youth Teams Championships in Salsomaggiore (Sam AKAYAN, Aleksander BLICHARZ, Joseph HEDGES, Wilf MARSHALL, with their NPC Stuart KING and coach Stephen KENNEDY, pictured), who not only won the bronze medal in the Board-a-Match teams, but Josesph Hedges also won the Joan Gerard award in the Under 16 category (picture)!
Joan Gerard Awards "reward aptitude, fair play, good sportsmanship and a friendly international spirit, rejecting any discrimination". There is only one per category (U16, U21, U26 and U26W) and cannot be voted for by members of your own nation.
