We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of the President of the World Bridge Federation (WBF), Jan Kamras, who died peacefully yesterday, after a period of illness.
Jan served as President of the WBF since 1st January 2023 (he was elected in August 2022), having previously been President of the European Bridge League (EBL), in both of which roles he dedicated his unwavering passion and leadership to the global bridge community despite the health conditions that arose.
The EBU extends its deepest condolences to the President’s family and friends during this difficult time. His contributions to the world of bridge will be remembered and cherished by generations to come.
