Aleks is 13 and lives in London. Introduced to bridge by his dad when he was nine, his passion really took off when he joined King's
College School’s club. He was invited to train with the U16 bridge squad, making his international debut in the European Online Teams in 2024. He remembers his first tournament with his dad at the Wimbledon club; he was the youngest there, got a lot of support. and found it enjoyable. His older brother plays too: it runs in the family. They like to play, point out mistakes and then analyse them: it motivates them since they both like winning. To Aleks bridge feels like constantly solving new puzzles which change as play progresses, and small details can make a big difference. He enjoys playing basketball, supporting the San Antonio Spurs because his favourite Polish-American plays for them.
