Catherine Seale

Catherine Seale started playing bridge at home when 10 and club bridge in Harare, Zimbabwe at 19. Serious bridge started in her mid 30's and she represented Zimbabwe before returning to England about 30 years ago.
Catherine has won various National Teams and Pairs events. In 2009 was a member of the team which won the National Ladies Teams.

Catherine got together with Catherine Jagger at the end of 2008 and since then they have been second in the Ladies Trials twice resulting in Catherine Seale's second appearance for England in the Lady Milne Trophy 2010. She played with Anne Rosen in the 2014 trials, and was again second, earning her third Lady Mile appearance.

In July 2015 won a bronze medal in the Women's Teams at the European Open Championships, in Tromso, Norway. She was playing with Marusa Basa (Slovenia), Gail Cameron & Vanessa Vos (both Zimbabwe). She was also part of the highest finishing English pair in the Mixed Pairs, playing with Tom Paske. In 2016, playing with Tom, she represented England in the Mixed Team at the World Bridge Games.

More recently, in 2022 Catherine represented England in the Women's team, playing with Catherine Draper in the Women’s European Championships held in Madiera.
