I had my first Bridge lesson on 29th September 2014, gained my first Masterpoints in March 2015 and have played regularly ever since. My Bridge claim to fame was a year later in March 2016 when, playing with my mother, we came 21st in the Easter Festival Swiss Pairs. There was a deal of luck, but my bridge teacher was impressed!

I literally have thrown myself into the world of Bridge, attending many congress in England and Overseas, helping at Club level, supporting at County Level and since March 2020 supporting the EBU as part of the Executive Working Group for Technology. Alongside, this I have run and helped run various charity events including Chelmsford’s first Café Bridge game.

Outside of Bridge, I founded a software development and data analytics company, www.objectiveit.com, back in 1987 which together with family life fully occupied me whilst the kids were young. I still work part-time supporting my daughter, Lara, who now runs the company.

Now with some free time to give, I hope that my enthusiasm combined with my years of experience in consultancy and business will help serve as a friendly, forward thinking, and pragmatic voice on the EBU Board.

I fully support the EBU Vision: “To bring Bridge to Everyone”.
