Edmund first learned to play bridge at Reading School aged 11, and got more widely involved after attending the Wessex Youth Bridge Weekend in 2016. Now 19, he helps run the bridge club at Durham University, where he teaches beginners, and with whom he won the Portland Bowl in 2019.
He plays regularly at clubs in Durham and Reading, and at other times studies Physical Geography, goes hill-walking, or volunteers.
