James Thrower

James Thrower 34, was born and raised in Harrogate. He learnt bridge through his school with various other England Juniors taught by Cedric Cockroft. Since 2016 he has been a full time bridge professional based in London with various successes, his proudest achievement was winning the Harrogate Swiss Pairs partnering England U20 Henry Rose (We think a record as Henry was only 14 at the time!). Pre lockdown James won the England Olympiad Trials, but sadly didnt get to play the event due to Covid cancelling it.

He has represented England many times at junior level, and in the Mixed Teams at the 2016 World Bridge Games.
