Kath Stynes is originally from Ireland but has lived in London for more years than she hasn't.
Kath learned to play bridge nearly 15 years ago. She started with a 'Learn Bridge in a Weekend' course taught by Ned Paul and followed this up with too many late nights at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club. She still plays at the YC, and in various leagues and tournaments most seriously with Debbie Sandford. She is also on the London county (LMBA) committee and helps to organise bridge events, notably the Lederer Memorial Trophy.
Professionally, Kath designs interfaces for online applications - for the last 10 years in financial services. Bridge is a pretty time-consuming pursuit but Kath also reads a lot and over lockdown she got very interested in perfume.
