Kath Stynes

Kath Stynes is originally from Ireland but has lived in London for more years than she hasn't.

Kath learned to play bridge in 2008. She started with a 'Learn Bridge in a Weekend' course taught by Ned Paul and followed this up with too many late nights at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club. She still plays at the YC, and in various leagues and tournaments, most seriously with Debbie Sandford. For 10 years she was on the LMBA (London county) committee but has now stepped down. She is still involved in organising the Lederer Memorial Trophy.

Professionally, Kath designs interfaces for online applications, most recently in the financial services sector. Bridge is a pretty time-consuming pursuit but Kath also reads a lot, she enjoys boardgames and over lockdown she got very interested in perfume.
