I live in Pinner, Middlesex and am married to Jane and the father to 3 great kids (Amelia and Dominic are teenagers and Ollie has just finished university).
I enjoyed a long career as an engineer with BP, working mainly on the development of natural gas resources around the world. But changes in the in the energy industry created the opportunity to switch path, allowing me to concentrate on my bridge, and giving me the opportunity to work with EBED.
I am a keen bridge player having learned the game back in my twenties. Initially, bridge took a back seat as family and career came first but I returned to the game a few years ago and haven’t looked back. I am the Chair of my local club, where I organise thriving online sessions and have also managed the return to face to face bridge. I direct and score, and have been working with inexperienced players online to give them the confidence to progress to play in club sessions.
When not involved with bridge I can be found riding my Peloton bike, or in the kitchen indulging my passion for cookery. I am a keen supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
