Stefanie Rohan

Stefanie first left her native America to teach English as a Second Language, and lived in Moscow and Tallinn before settling in England. She plays much of her bridge with her partner, Paul Lamford, and they are well known on the London scene. Now she works on a freelance basis, editing and computer-typesetting books, usually on the subject of games or puzzles.

Bridge is not the only game Stefanie enjoys; she has played in several World and European Backgammon Championships, with, admittedly, very modest success. Her other interests include handicrafts and classical choral singing.

Stefanie had long been interested in entering the Women’s Trials and finally took the plunge in 2008, earning a place on the Lady Milne team in partnership with Audrey Hartley.
