cartoon picture of four playing cards Ace, King, Queen, Jack

Two and fifty cards
Were placed into a pack
Half of them were red
And half of them were black

When the pack was dealt
The kings began to cry
They knew they’d lose to aces
And the queens would qualify

The ten was at the table
Counting out his tricks
The jack was in the dummy
Playing politics

The nine was with declarer
In a devil of a hand
The awful distribution
Was not what he had planned

The eight was quite nefarious
As were the three and two
All the missing numbers
Gave him far too much to do

The robots at the table
Were laughing as they played
You should have seen their faces
When the contract made
