Across Chelmsford Bridge Clubs over 50 tables of Bridge Players enjoyed a Christmas Party. So, if food is a gauge of the popularity of Bridge, Chelmsford is doing well.
The great thing about the Christmas Parties is they spanned every level of player.

As reported in the Sussex World paper, Horsham Bridge Club recently raised £950 for Children in Need during six charity games in November.

Jack Harris (pictured) is a regular player at Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club. He recently turned 103! Not that you would know his ages from his bridge playing.
Recently Wakefield Bridge Club celebrated their Platinum Jubilee. Below Club Secretary, Stephen Hanslip details the day's highlights:
Ken Flavell will be 100 years old on 13th November 2023. His wife Pat is 95. Ken stated playing bridge in 1944, with Pat starting in 1955.
As we enter the final day of the congress, Nichola Cockerill-Smith, Catherine Thompson, Lesley Bridson and Stuart Davies are leading the Swiss Teams by 4VPs, so we are expecting a close-run thing, with the possibility of the lead changing several times during the afternoon’s four matches.
