We want to encourage you to engage with your county, and take part in their activities, to get the most from your county membership. Please visit your county’s website for up-to-date information on its competitions, teaching programmes, youth activities, and other news. These websites will also provide up-to-date details of the county’s officials and their contact information. An archive of news which has previously been submitted by counties for inclusion in the EBU members' magazine, English Bridge, can be found here. This column in the magazine was discontinued at the end of 2017 as the majority of members were sourcing more up-to-date information from county websites and newsletters, and a survey of the readership indicated that other content should be given priority. County allegiance: Please note that your county of primary allegiance does not automatically change - for example if you move house - and must be specifically changed. In EBU competitions players may only represent their County of primary allegiance. Any member wishing to change their county of allegiance should contact Karen Durrell - karend@ebu.co.uk or 01296 317201. You cannot make the change yourself so as to ensure that the change is permitted (for example that you haven't already changed allegiance that year). You can see your county of primary allegiance in My EBU.
