FESTIVAL UPDATE
Our Bridge – It’s A Big Deal! Festival is gathering momentum, with lots of clubs and counties organising a range of events and activities, from which the UMS will go to Cancer Research UK.
We are delighted to welcome Espen Gisvold to the organising committee while the Festival Co-ordinator Tony Russ steps back for a while due to health issues. Espen will be known to many in the Manchester area as a very active organiser and we are sure his energy and ideas will add to everything that is being planned.
At the same time, while Tony temporarily steps back from his board duties, Abbey Smith will be the board member with responsibility for clubs and she will be happy to offer any help she can to clubs, as will Jonathan Lillycrop our Club Liaison Officer.

Club Seminars
The latest Club Seminar was held on Tuesday 30th April at 11am. This Club Seminar will discuss EBU scoring programs other than EBUScore Pairs and demonstrate how they work. The recording of the event is now available to view on the EBU YouTube Channel along with all previous Club Seminars.
More Club Seminars will be held throughout the year. If you have a subject you would like to see covered in a future seminar please contact jonathan@ebu.co.uk.

County TD Course
Entries are coming in steadily for the upcoming County TD Course (18th-19th May 2024 at Yarnfield Park Training and Conference Centre), if you would like to attend, please book in plenty of time to ensure there is enough space.
The course will be run by EBU National Tournament Directors Sarah Amos and Phil Godfrey. The course fee of £245 for residential delegates includes dinner, bed and breakfast at the centre for one night, and a light lunch on Saturday and Sunday, plus course materials. The course is a mixture of table simulations, lectures and written assessment. Further details available on the Advanced TD Training webpage, or contact comps (01296 317203 or comps@ebu.co.uk).
