One of the major functions of the EBU is to provide competitions, tournaments and congresses for members of all abilities. It organises events at different venues around the country on the majority of weekends and bank holidays throughout the year, as well as two 6-day overseas congresses a year, not to mention the prestigious Eastbourne Summer Meeting.

Congresses
Following the June 2012 meeting, the Tournament Committee have decided to publish the summary of responses from the congress review forms that the players complete on site. These have been made available from the 2012 Riviera Congress onwards.

Online competitions
Funbridge
From September 2017 you have been able to play in EBU competitions on Funbridge. The games now take place every day of the week with IMP scoring on Mondays and Fridays and matchpoint scoring on all other days
