We are pleased to confirm that the main events for the London Easter festival will definitely be going ahead face-to-face. The main events are the Championship Pairs, Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams. The congress will be held in a smaller space in the venue, as such advance booking is now essential. It is very important that we get an idea of player numbers well in advance of each event, so please don’t hold off entering. If you enter and are unable to play refunds will always be given.
Unfortunately, due to lack of numbers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 9-High Pairs and 9-High Swiss Pairs in London, however there will still be an online 9-High Pairs run by Kent CBA, details here. Email notifications have been sent to those members affected and full refunds will be given.
The event will take place Easter weekend, at the ILEC Conference Centre, near Earls Court. The venue is just a few minutes walk from West Brompton station which offers both underground and National Rail services and only two stops from Clapham Junction. Accommodation is available at the adjacent IBIS Hotel.
A 'northern alternative' for those wanting an Easter weekend of bridge. The Northern Easter Festival will take place at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley.
