EBU Event Focus
Issue 74: October 2018

Dear EBU member

The new season is now well under way, and there is a lot of bridge to keep you busy in the coming weeks. Not only are there congresses in which you can take part, but there is also chance to watch some top quality bridge on BBO - see the dates at the bottom, and don't forget the ongoing World Bridge Series in Orlando - and our games with Funbridge continue every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - see www.ebu.co.uk/funbridge for details.

Importing from the calendar
You may be aware of the calendar on the EBU website which lists not only EBU events, but also county congresses and other licensed competitions. But did you also know that you can import information from it in to most calendar types on your phone or computer? The calendar is available at www.ebu.co.uk/calendar, and at the foot of the page are instructions on how to add specific competitions, certain types of competition, or the whole calendar.

Partner finder messageboard
If you need a partner or team mates for an EBU congress don’t forget that there is a message board on each congress webpage you can use to try to make contact with others who are seeking someone for that event.

As always, if you have any queries about any of the events featured here then please don't hesitate to contact the Competitions Department on 01296 317203/219 or at comps@ebu.co.uk. Entries can be made by calling this number, or through My EBU, the members area of the website - www.ebu.co.uk/members.
