Dear EBU member 

It is starting to feel wintry, with the nights drawing in, but there is still plenty of bridge to be played, albeit online! Below are highlighted some of the competitions taking place over the next few weeks.

National Inter Club Knockout (NICKO)

We would like to remind you that the closing date for the National Inter Club Knock Out (NICKO) 2020-21 is only two weeks away. Entries are open until Saturday 21st November at 12pm noon. The 2020/21 competition will be held entirely online.

Online Year End Congress

Due to Covid, the usual Year End Congresses in London and Blackpool will not be taking place face-to-face this year. Instead we will be running an online Year End Congress, held on RealBridge.

The online congress will be held between Christmas and New Year over four days, 27th to 30th December.

There will be the usual events, Mixed or Open Pairs, Jack High Pairs, Swiss Pairs and Teams. The Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams are both stratified events.

There will also be a Jack High Swiss Pairs, with a Zoom seminar the next morning to go through the hands. It will also be stratified for pairs who are 9-high or 6-high.

The following county events will now take place online. This is a nice opportunity to play in events you may not have had chance to previously.

To enter the County events, please follow the links above and enter via the county websites.
