Scoring a Pairs Event

Select Movement

Firstly, you need to enter the number of tables, where the red circle is in the screenshot below (I have already selected '7' tables).
If you have a half-table, you should round up (& when you have selected the movement, enter the 'missing pair').

You will see that a list of potential movements appears in the main window. The choice is extensive, far too much so for most 'normal' clubs.
You will probably just be interested in the 'Mitchell' option, and perhaps one or two Howells. You can amend the options that are visible via the 'list' options towards the bottom right. For example, clicking on the 'Club + Mitchells' option will reduce the list to just the 'Standard' and 'Hesitation' Mitchells, until such time as you have added further movements to your own club favourites.

Assume for the time being that you just want to run a standard Mitchell: click on this option from the list.
Even now, there are further options available. Where it's not obvious what they mean, they can almost certainly be safely ignored!
Just make sure, when you run a Mitchell, to check that your 1-winner / 2-winner options are correct! (including how many arrow-switched rounds you have). N.B., when running a 1-winner movement, it is not an option for E/W pairs to take their table numbers as pair numbers.

When you are satisfied with the movement & options selected, click on OK. A pop-up will confirm your selections, and you will be taken back to the Event Menu.
