The English Bridge Union is committed to the development of Bridge, and consequently puts great emphasis on education and learning. Exciting news! As promised a few weeks ago, EBED has launched the English Bridge School (“EBS”) today.
EBS is a new and fresh way of teaching bridge to students online. The aim is to develop EBS into a one- stop learning portal where everything a bridge teacher or student could possibly want is readily available and just a click away. It has been designed so that, even if you have never taught bridge online before, you should find everything straight forward.

Exciting news from EBED which will impact on how teachers and students will access learning material in the future. In response to EBTA teachers requesting high quality, up to date and flexible teaching material, EBED are launching a brand new learning portal called English Bridge School (EBS) which will allow access to a whole new suite of material to support on-line bridge teaching. All current material will still be available on the teacher zone and additionally the new material held on EBS will be available to all EBTA teachers who wish to access it.

New Tricks Bridge Club is a YouTube channel dedicated to the promotion of bridge education at all levels. They have created a series of bridge lessons, which are free to access. You can view the first episode of their Tournament Series, which combines expert commentary and graphics, and features world class players like Andrew Robson, David Gold & Zia Mahmood, here: Tournament Series Episode One
