NGS Not Available

Whenever I Direct and Score I have noticed that sometimes the average NGS is significantly wrong because most of the higher rated players are not included in the "AVERAGE NGS" for the event.

Can anyone tell me why this is? Also It right?

  • The secong question should read "Is this right in the sense that I believe it should be included as they played the event"

  • The normal reason for having this error is that you've marked these players as guests (or not provided correct EBU numbers), meaning that they are not included in the average NGS. In the club login, these players will marked in the results sheet with (G).

    On the results sheet, you can also see each pair's result in comparison to par. If it's marked with a dash, then that pair's details are probably incorrect. Similarly, you can check each pair to see whether the result relative to par seems normal.
