Error 75 - problem setting up new event in EBUScore Swiss Pairs
One of our EBU TDs, Neil Morley, was getting this error message when trying to set up a new event. It seems he is not alone in this happening, and it is due to a problem with permissions. Jeff Smith discusses it on his user problems webpage under STARTUP PROBLEMS, where he offers two solutions for anyone who experiences this:
- Run the program as Administrator, which can be done by right-clicking on the program icon, then select More, then Run as Administrator. You may be prompted to enter your Administrator password. Or,
- Create a new folder beside the existing one you use for the program. Then, either do a fresh install into that folder, or copy your existing program file across to the new folder, delete the old folder and rename the new one.
