Print Options on EBUScore
In EBUScore (pairs and all the others ). Going from the Event Menu and clicking the button "Reports" there is a box headed "Print Options". The first amendable box is itemised as "Ranks Note"(puts a note on the report) and to the right of it is a box labeled as "category". Can anyone tell me what goes in there and what is it for? I have tried a few things (numbers; letters and words) and the report gets the headings but no data. Take the entry out of the "category" box and all the data re-appears.

If you have assigned categories to some of the pairs - such as J, S, B, then if you put such a category in the "category" box it will only list the pairs that have been so assigned. The reason it shows nothing for you is because presumably you haven't assigned any categories.
If you put some text in the "Ranks Note", that text will be included in the header for the ranks listing.
Ah! thank you Gordon. So we set up a "category" in the "Properties" dialogue box, which could be "NE" (non expert) for some pairs and we can see their separate results. Nice one.

Note that categories are one letter. So "NE" looks like two categories to the program. This does not mean you cannot use "NE" because it looks better in the output, but in some places (e.g. Prizes) you will have to just use "N".
