Bridgewebs Site

The site seems to be down at the moment with a certificate problem.

  • It depends on your browser.

  • It's a bit of a pain, but you can get there if you remove the "https" from the URL. You have to do so every time you navigate to a new page :-(

  • It's a problem with a certificate which expired and need to be renewed. Chrome doesn't like sites that aren't https so gives an error message. Opera copes and Bridgewebs have sent an email to site owners in the last hour explaining how to cope in the interim.

Don't do this if you're logging in to your account, though. Your password could be intercepted by someone.

  • I had problems this morning, came here to see if any one else had, saw nothing and read another thread ...

  • Gwynn has sorted this now. The Security Certificate for Bridgewebs sites came up for renewal but had taken a few days for the supporting Bridgewebs ISP to get round to applying for a new certificate. This issue has happened befiore and will likely recur every 12 months (length of certificate) for a few days.
