Can 1NT be comparable if N-S are playing a strong NT and failed to (attempt to) open it.

EW's Multi is in part, with weak 2's included, meant to disrupt the opponents. If they're unhappy when their bidding is disrupted time to spend more time on their methods rather than complain.
Assume the X of 3H (not alerted?) was a 'Multi X' … -
Re. tempo it's not necessarily finding an appropriate card but deciding which suit to encourage, with 2 'equal' options one often wants the one partner has an honour in which for many means thinking.
Now, if you get it wrong and partner leads … -
I think the xx in hearts rather than a void
a) reduces the possibility partner was considering doubling
b) increases the possibility 4H is making
If you agree (asume no poll) should we consider either or both. -

I'd accept the 0/3 or 1/4 playing at the table against a leading pair but not from the pair in question. IF that's permissible for a director difficult to draw a line to stop hesitation replacing competence.

So, IF a pair do play positive responses to 2D I'll test my understanding.
1. If N bids, say, 2S that isn't comparable as per 1H - 1S, etc.
2. If N bids 2H wirh a genuine negative that is comparable and the bidding may proceed norm… -
Probably less experienced players don't double enough but how much better than A9x would one want to double 3D opposite a strong balanced hand, surely a double doesn't suggest we might play in D.
That's why I think passing, leaving it to partn… -
What about East's Pass over 3D ?
whether slow, normal or fast should it negate any thought of leeway for East - looks to me as though it's assumed to be forcing and encouraging UI. -
Much worse if both members of a partnership arrive without warning after the requested time.

6C should, in my view, be 1 off IF declarer selected the best line but easy to make fewer tricks.
5S would be less easy had the defence known about the 5-5 but both spades and diamonds break favourably. -

'Deliberately' exposing 3 cards might attract a procedural penalty ? If so it would be V harsh, presumably the Director has discretion not to further penalise the unfortunate… -
One minor point not mentioned is that the 3C bidder, if still intent on playing in S or D, might have bid 5D but that's less likely to 'wake up' partner.
Anyway, as per the advice from VixTD the director confirmed his decision of 6C going off… -
I, for one, didnt know about adjusting to 5C rather than 6C so correct to mention it.
Whilst 5S was fortunately making 6C should go down, does this alter the adjustment.
I assume that the partner of the 3C bidder isn't expected to mentio… -
The 5S bidder wss 5053 and over 1H a Stop3C bid would show Spades and Diamonds.

It was 3 board rounds and the cards for board 10 were in board 11 etc etc.
So, when a playing director I now check my cards on the final board, which is rarely played, are the same as on the printout provided.
