Joining the EBU
Methods of membership
Joining via Affiliated Clubs
The easiest way that people becoming a member with the EBU is via their local/affiliated club.

Direct Membership
Join as Direct Members by paying a membership fee directly to the EBU.
Subscription fees
Fees for both Direct membership and via Club affiliation.
Universal Membership Scheme (UMS)
A small payment (45 pence from April 2024 to March 2025) is charged each time a player plays at an EBU affiliated club. Payment of this Universal Membership fee means that all members of clubs which are affiliated to the EBU become player members of the EBU. Direct membership of the EBU – for those who play at unaffiliated clubs, or live outside England – is also available.
