The TDDG stands for the Tournament Directors Development Group.
Below is an introduction from the Chairman Heather Dhondy to explain what the TDDG does.
The group was formed in 2007 to oversee the development of the members of the EBU panel.Who are we?
The TDDG is a sub-committee of the Board of Directors of the EBU. It is made up of four members, Jeremy Dhondy, Martin Pool, Joy Mayall and myself. These members are not elected, but are chosen by the board with the aim of providing a group of regular tournament players of mixed abilities with plenty of interviewing experience.What do we do?

In addition to this, the group aims to offer advice and guidelines to TDs, and to listen to their concerns and suggestions for improvement and act upon them ourselves or report them to the Board as appropriate.

How do I apply for promotion? Simply send me an email, preferably giving a few lines in support of your application.
Who should I speak to if I have a problem or a suggestion? Gordon Rainsford is in charge of TD operations at the EBU. The TDDG works closely with him, so if you speak to Gordon he will ensure that anything that we need to be involved with is passed on.
How can I get feedback on my own performance? The TDDG keeps a record of all interviews it has undertaken. If you have been unsuccessful with a promotion application, we would normally give you some feedback about where you need to improve in order to reach the next level. Any feedback about your own interview is available on request by emailing me.
