The Tournament Committee is pleased to announce that the pilot scheme for the crediting of Masterpoints earned in KO events will be made permanent.
This means that points earned in KO events will normally be credited shortly after the end of the round in which a team has been eliminated from a competition. However, as most events commence in one calendar year and finish in the next, in order to maintain the integrity of the annual Masterpoints competition and the Gold Point scheme, points earned by teams eliminated in the early rounds of a competition will not be credited until February of the year in which the competition ends. This currently applies to round 2 of the Crockfords Cup, rounds 2, 3 and 4 of the Hubert Phillips Bowl and round 2 of the Gerard Faulkner Salver.
