Welcome to the Winter 2017 edition of Club Management Focus.
I’m sure the eagle-eyed amongst you have already noticed the introduction of a Club tab at the top of the website home page. We hope this will enable clubs to navigate our website more easily. Please let us know if there is additional Club information that you would like quick access to from the Clubs’ homepage.
Perhaps not surprisingly, many of our clubs are considering applying for charitable status and we have now added a list of clubs with charitable status to the site. Please help us to keep this list up to date by letting us know if and when your club obtains charitable status with either the Charity Commission or HMRC. Clubs going through this process can benefit hugely from talking to other clubs who have had similar experiences.
The EBUScore training course in Aylesbury arranged for March proved very popular amongst club scorers and is now full with a waiting list. Please see the article below for information about further courses. However please note that all your scorers will be able to benefit from new and detailed training course materials for EBUScore that are being prepared for this and subsequent courses. These will become available on the website shortly.
